Security Software Test - Mar 2012

Scroll Prev Top Next More

Test of all major security software to make sure that AVG Internet Security is still the best choice for protecting my customers

This testing is completely unbiased, and AVG has come out on top because it is as I expected the best all round product and not just because it is the product I recommend

It is clear from the testing that no product will give 100% protection, but a good product such as AVG along with a secure browser such as Internet Explorer will give you the best protection possible

Tested these two as they are often the products customers have heard of and the stores try to sell to you - as you can see detection and removal of viruses is very poor

No further testing done on these products as they failed on key points during first stage so were eliminated - exceptions made for Norton, McAfee as these are popular choices so wanted to show full results for them
