Browse the web without saving your history with Microsoft Edge InPrivate Browsing
Now you can shop for that special gift knowing your partner won't accidentally find out what websites you have visited, or you can use a shared computer to browse the internet without leaving a trace
This works by preventing Microsoft Edge from saving data about your browsing session. This includes cookies, temporary Internet files, history, addresses, passwords and other data
Toolbars and extensions are disabled by default

This mode allows you to view older legacy websites and web applications that were designed for Internet Explorer but which don't work correctly in Microsoft Edge.
To enable this feature for a specific website follow the steps below:-
1) Open the Edge menu by clicking the
2) From the menu choose Settings.
3) Choose Default Browser in the left hand pane.
4) In the drop down box titled Allow sites to be reloaded in Internet Explorer mode select Allow.
5) Click Restart.

6) Repeat Steps 1 -3.
7) You can now click the Add button, enter the URL for the site that only works in Internet Explorer (IE) and then click Add.

8) For the next 30 days when you visit this website it will now automatically open in Internet Explorer (IE) Mode which will be indicated by an icon in the navigation bar and a message.

9) After 30 days the site will be removed from the list and will need to be added again.
You can also manually remove any sites from the list by clicking the remove page icon.
